FLADDER Danmark A/S is based in Ansager (Denmark) and is a manufacturer and exporter of wood and metal forming machinery. The company is well known as the inventor of the FLADDER® Finishing System and belongs to the Hansen & Hundebøl group.

The history of the company FLADDER

In the early 1970's the company Hansen & Hundebøl was established as a development center. The task was to develop applications for the automation and rationalization of production processes. It was in this regard that at the end of that same decade the FLADDER® Sanding System was introduced, followed by innovative abrasive blades. It was an innovation in the sector providing a grinding quality that had never before been achieved. From then on FLADDER continued to patent its innovations and quickly became a global leader in sanding and deburring systems. The 1980's brought the beginning of automation which greatly contributed to sales and the growth of the company. As FLADDER gains more and more renown on the global market, a new word begins to describe plate deburring among technicians and engineers: Fladdering. Patenting its innovations serves a twofold purpose, on the one hand patents can protect the idea and further improvements and on the other hand they spur on developments in new application fields. Today, FLADDER Danmark does not only work with wood but also produces machines for deburring, brushfinishing and polishing in the metal working industry.
