What is the Structure of a Facing Lathe?

For safe operation, it requires a particularly stable foundation, which has to be several cubic metres of strong cement. On that, there is a machine support weighing several tonnes, that is made out of cast iron. In terms of their structure, they are not that different than conventional lathes.
